The 220 single family homes in The Landings range in size from 2,000 to 6,000+ square feet. Styles include Mediterranean, Traditional and Contemporary with a scattering of New England style cottages.
Most homes have three to five bedrooms with a patio/lanai area — many with pools. Many homes have spacious backyards, some with water views of the Intracoastal Waterway or one of our nine lakes. The variety of home styles allows for one floor living or two-story styles.
The homes occupy the majority of the North section of The Landings with about eighty percent of the foliage offering a mature canopy of Florida native trees and shrubs with carefully tended grounds. An active seven member Board ensures that the aesthetics and maintenance are maintained for the enjoyment of all.
The Cloisters
The Cloisters is of one of The Landings smallest HOA’s consisting of ten single family homes, each with a Cedar Bay Lane address.
As one of the smallest HOA’s we enjoy a very quiet corner of The Landings adjacent to Sarasota Bay. Three of our homes border the Nature Trail, two of which share a dock into the Bay, and the third with its own dock. There is a wooden bridge that connect The Cloisters to the Treehouses.
There are no community amenities, although each home has a private swimming pool. An optional Landings Racquet Club membership offers tennis, a pool and spa, and Fitness Center, all recently updated appealing to young and older residents.
