I have been visiting the Landings several times a year from Westchester County NY since 1987 and retired in December from my “real” job as a CPA to officially join my wife Laurie as a Snowbird.   Photography has been a hobby of mine for almost 50 years and I enjoy shooting all sorts of subjects.   When my athletically blessed sons first began in peewee leagues 35 years ago, I began specializing in sports photography and continued shooting for their teams through high school and college.

I enjoy the challenge of finding unique subjects to isolate wherever I physically find myself, although when shooting the spectacularly gorgeous water birds of Florida, it is often difficult to stand out from the many outstanding bird photographers as evidenced by the wonderful images taken by the other Landings’ folks who are highlighted in this section. It is never difficult to pick up a camera anywhere in the neighborhood and find a gorgeous subject. 

In recent years, my favorite subjects have been my two grandchildren which should come as no surprise to anyone who is blessed to be a grandparent.
